Map 1 showing in respect of the 1911 census; percentage of Irish speakers in each district electoral division and the total number of Irish speakers in each district electoral division. This map is in 4 large, folding sheets, each measuring 740 X 1035 mm.
Map 2 is also in 4 large sheets, showing the same information in respect of the 1925 special enumeration for the counties of Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Kerry , Cork, and Waterford, and parts of the counties Sligo, Roscommon, Clare, and Tipperary.
The sheets are in a card wallet which has two pockets, The cotton gusset of the right pocket has become loose but could be restuck. There is some wear and light stains to the wallet. The maps are in good condition, neatly folded along their original fold lines and do not seem to have been unfolded very often. A scarce set.
